AUTHOR'S BIOGRAPHY:

Shameed Karim, born of Shaheed and Yasmeen Karim on the 24th December 1986, is a young man that has always been fascinated by love. Though he knew not what romantic love was in his younger days, he always dreamt of that feeling and that comfort of being in love and being loved.
He was raised in Trinidad by his single mother and attended Presentation College up until he was 18 years old. His mother nurtured him to her best ability and did exceedingly well. She was the reason he was introduced to Jesus Christ, his Savior.

As an adolescent and budding young man, Shameed grew increased interest in music and musical instruments. After learning and playing the guitar, his gift and inspiration to write poetry blossomed. This is where the name Evanderbalt arose. It was the name chosen to impart, teach and share his gifts to people while providing positive entertainment. This was the alias that would spread his poetry and inspiration to others. Although this “name” lay dormant for a long time waiting to be released.

He was then drafted into the Flaming Word Ministry’s musical band, Blaze, as the lead guitarist. Here his experience, pleasure and delight in playing alongside other gifted minstrels grew. Also, the messages that would come off the pulpit in this ministry, also known as Praise City, planted many seeds in his heart and increased his faith while instilling in him a burning desire for greatness.

At the age of 21, he found the perfect girl who would show him what true love is about. His dream girl, who is now his fiancé, was who he had been writing and basing all his love oriented lyrical pieces on his entire life. When she finally came out of his dreams and into his arms, his writing gift exploded. This is when he decided to make a compilation that is now called and has been released to you as “Evanderbalt’s Book of Poetry: Love, God, Heartbreak and more.”
